1. Introduction
Welcome to Booktime, a time-tracking application designed to monitor and share your reading activities. By creating an account and using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
To use Booktime, you must be at least 13 years old. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
3. Account Creation and Responsibilities
- Account Information: You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and to update it as necessary.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
- Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in prohibited activities.
4. User Content and Privacy
- Content Sharing: Your reading data and profile information are private by default and are not visible to other users.
- Data Usage: We collect and store logs to ensure the proper functioning of the application. In the event of errors, we process these logs, which are stored as hash keys. For security purposes, we store IP addresses when you request password resets.
- Data Deletion: If you choose to delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers.
5. Community Guidelines
We are committed to fostering a respectful community. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Bullying: Any form of harassment or intimidation.
- Explicit Content: Sharing or promoting obscene or offensive material.
- Spam: Unsolicited or repetitive messages and content.
Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Subscription Model
Booktime offers a subscription service at a rate of €5. Please note:
- Payments: All payments are non-refundable.
- Cancellations: There are no refunds or partial returns available upon cancellation.
7. Third-Party Integrations
Booktime utilizes the paid version of ISBNdb.com to retrieve book information. According to ISBNdb.com's Terms and Conditions, users are permitted to use their API to parse book information in real-time for personal and commercial purposes, including storing or caching the data locally with an active subscription.
8. Limitation of Liability
Booktime is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the application, including data loss or unauthorized access.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Significant changes will be communicated to users, and continued use of Booktime constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Slovenia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Slovenian courts.
